Mat lived in the SouthWest of W.A. for 7 years, relocating to Traralgon in Victoria in early 2011. He arrived in W.A. like many others with thoughts of staying for a while then moving on elsewhere. But there’s something magical about the SouthWest that attracts us all and it wasn’t long before plans were changed and Mat decided to stay for longer than a while.

For the past 18 years he’s been involved in Radio and Television announcing and management which has given him a great education in presenting and public speaking.

When he's not busy being a marriage celebrant, Mat is the Program Director for both TR FM and Gold 1242, part of the Ace Radio Network in Traralgon, broadcasting across Latrobe City, Wellington Shire and into East Gippsland.  Mat is also the Assistant Group Program Director for the Gold network.  Prior to this role, he was Group Program Director for the RadioWest and Hot FM networks in Western Australia an looked after the sound of 17 stations.

You’ll find Mat to be professional in his presentation but really easy going and fun to get along with.

He loves asking questions because it’s the best way to get to know you, and that’s the only way to create something special for you!

Mat can also empathise very well with the process of getting married, as he himself married in August 2009.  He understands very well the work, care, thought and stress that goes into planning your perfect day wth the perfect better half.
